Tomfooleries Restaurant and Bar, located in the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri offers a unique & fun dining experience for all!

Barton and Shelly Bloom have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. They met working in the industry after his graduation from Kansas University and her from Baylor University. Barton was the manager and Shelly trained the wait staff when they first met. Their shared passion for the restaurant business led them to start Talk of the Town, Molly McGee’s in Lawrence, Molly’s on the Lake in Lake Perry, Forks in the Air in Leawood, Tomfooleries on the Plaza, and Tomfooleries in Zona Rosa. Barton and Shelly also have four wonderful children and three dogs who keep life exciting as they are waiting for their next opportunity.

Tomfooleries on the Plaza opened April 22, 2002. Celebrating our twentieth anniversary, Tomfooleries is still an (almost) around-the-clock hot spot (The Pitch). Our new menu is packed with tasty specialties and favorites prepared by our chefs. Tomfooleries serves an all you can eat breakfast buffet on Sundays (Sunday brunch). On the weekends, be sure to try our Bloody Mary Bar featuring more than 100 ingredients you can use to make it just the way you like it! Bringing the kids with you? Our Kids Menu is sure to please!
